1. Summary
ChillPark is a parking finder app for Hong Kong. It helps users search for destinations, view nearby parking information, and launch navigation.
ChillPark does not require account registration. Most user-facing data is handled locally on your device. Some features rely on third-party services such as Apple MapKit, Apple In-App Purchase, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, and Hong Kong government open data services.
2. Information We Handle
Destination search and map requests
Destination search relies on Apple MapKit and related Apple location services. Search terms and map-related requests may therefore be processed by Apple under Apple's own policies.
Recent searches stored on your device
ChillPark stores recent searches locally on your device for convenience. These may include destination title, subtitle or address text, latitude, longitude, and a search timestamp. ChillPark does not upload this information to its own server.
Optional in-app purchases
ChillPark offers optional tip-based in-app purchases processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Limited supporter-related data such as tip count and processed transaction identifiers may be stored locally on your device.
Advertising and consent
ChillPark may show ads to users who are not supporters. The app integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. These services may process device and request information needed for ads, consent choices, and related operations, subject to their own policies and your settings.
Parking data requests
ChillPark may request parking and selected vacancy information from Hong Kong government open data endpoints to display parking information inside the app.
Support and issue reporting
If you choose to open a support or issue-report link from the app, you may be taken to our support page or GitHub issue tracker. Information you submit there is governed by the privacy policy of the relevant external service.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

- Google, for advertising and ad privacy consent flows
- Hong Kong government open data services, for parking data retrieval
- our support page and GitHub issue tracker, if you voluntarily open support links
ChillPark does not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
Because ChillPark does not require an account and stores certain information locally on your device, retention may depend on your device and app usage.
- recent searches remain on-device until you clear them or remove the app
- supporter-related local records remain on-device unless app data is removed
- purchases themselves are managed through Apple's systems

- deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings
- use the in-app ad privacy options where available
- clear recent searches inside the app
- avoid optional in-app purchases if you do not wish to use supporter features
- choose not to open support or issue-report links
7. Children's Privacy
ChillPark is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own backend services.
